We'd love for you to join us for one of our weekend worship services. We trust you will sense our excitement and joy, and more importantly, that you will be encouraged and challenged as we worship Christ and open the Bible together!
What if I have kids?
If you have kids birth through 4th grade, we suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow for parking, registering your kids with our Children's Ministry, and finding a seat in the Worship Center.
Bridge—our preteen discipleship ministry—is available each weekend for 5th–6th grade students. If you have a preteen student, they will sit with you in the Worship Center during worship, and will then be invited to join other 5th–6th grade students in the Lower Classroom for biblical teaching and age-appropriate discussion.
What should I wear?
Casual dress is very appropriate here. You will see everything from sport coats to golf shirts.
What should I bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it. If not, no problem. We have some extras that we would be happy to lend you, and will even give you a coupon to receive a Bible of your own after the service.
Where should I park?
If you are a first time visitor, look for our reserved guest parking in the first row on your right as you enter the main parking lot.
For regular parking, please follow the instructions of the parking team. We try to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum amount of people to attend our services. Overflow parking is available at the Northridge Shopping Center.
What is Guest Central?
If you are a first time visitor, we would love to meet you! Stop by Guest Central in the lobby after service where you can chat with one of our staff and pick up a free gift. We also invite you to stay for 10 minutes for Step 1 offered every weekend after each service. This informal introduction is a great way to find out if our church is the church for you.
Where is the Worship Center located?
When you enter the church through the main entrance, the Worship Center is located through the four double doors straight ahead, just past the Information Desk.
What happens during the worship service?
Generally speaking, our service begins with contemporary worship led by a band—no choir robes or organ music. Most people stand during this time. However, there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer. The words of all of the songs are projected onto a screen, and you can either sing along, or just sit back and enjoy the music. You'll probably hear songs you can relate to even if you haven't been to church in years.
At some point during the service, we would like for you to fill out the “Register.” It should be passed down your row, and allows us to get to know you a bit. You can request information, ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us. In any case, we use it to pray for you during the week. You won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you’re new. Nor will you have to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.
Following worship, we take an offering. If you’re a guest—relax! The service is on us and there’s no obligation at all on your part. Just pass the offering bag on down the row.
After the offering, Pastor Rob will encourage and challenge you with a practical message from the Bible. You’ll be able to easily follow along with a simple message notes outline (that you will receive on your way into the Worship Center), so that you can take with you what you learned, and use and apply it during the week.
Finally, we close with another worship song that often times ties directly into the message so you can reflect on what you just heard.
How long does the service last?
Our services last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
What about after the service?
Don't feel like you have to hurry out the door. In fact, you may want to help yourself to a cup of coffee at the café, stop by the Information Desk, or check out some of the ministry kiosks. If you're a first time visitor, we'd love to meet you! Stop by Guest Central in the lobby after service where you can chat with one of our staff and pick up a free gift. We also invite you to stay for 10 minutes for Step 1 offered every weekend after each service. This informal introduction is a great way to find out if Coram Deo Bible Church is the church for you.
What if I require special assistance
If you are hard of hearing, we provide Assisted Listening Devices at our Information Desk.
An ASL Interpreter is available during our Saturday 5:30pm worship services. Click here for a seating location map for our Deaf Ministry.
We also have designated seating areas if you are confined to a wheelchair. Please ask an Usher for help locating these areas created specifically for you.
What if I still have questions?
Please feel free to contact us, or stop by Guest Central after one of our services.
