Alissa Adkins

Associate Principal & 1st Grade Teacher

Alissa was blessed with parents who taught her God’s Word, and she committed her life to Christ at the age of 6. Her missionary family moved a lot, so she experienced diverse public, private, and homeschool education settings throughout her K–12 years. She attended Liberty University and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has experience in Emergency Room nursing and school nursing. 

Alissa met her husband, Grady, in high school, and they were married in 1998.  They have four children together that keep them very busy.

In 2020, Grady and Alissa felt God calling them to start a school at Coram Deo, where children can receive a quality education based on God’s Word. She is committed to providing students at Coram Deo Academy with an engaging, active learning community where they are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ and in their academic knowledge. 

Alissa currently serves as the Associate Principal and 1st Grade Teacher at Coram Deo Academy.
