Jesse Slinkman
Small Group Pastor
Jesse grew up in the Chicagoland area in a Christian home. He was saved at the age of 10; having repented of his sin and trusting in Christ Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. He attended Moody Bible Institute and served in the worship ministry of his local church. During this time, the Lord called Jesse into full-time ministry as a worship leader for a church in Clinton, Iowa where he also met his wife, Sydney.
Having served as a worship leader for a few years, the Lord directed Jesse and Sydney to serve at Coram Deo Bible Church as a worship leader in 2016. In 2019, God opened a door for the Slinkmans to be a part of a church plant in West Des Moines. Jesse and Sydney followed the Lord’s call and helped start Multiply Church. Four years later, in 2023, Jesse and Sydney felt called back to full-time ministry and the Quad Cities. Jesse rejoined Coram Deo’s pastoral staff in September of 2023 as Small Group Pastor.
The Slinkmans have been married since 2015 and have 4 kids. Jesse and Sydney have the joy of parenting Brielle, Evangeline, Leora, and Elian. Whether in church or at home, Jesse and Sydney have a desire to live according to God’s Word and to help others do the same.
