Sand Volleyball Tournament

Bump, Set, SPIKE! Gather your teams and come join us for a CO-ED Sand Volleyball Tournament Friday, June 13 starting at 5:30pm! The tournament will be held at Junge Park, 3250 Western Ave, Davenport, IA 52803. There will be prizes for the winning teams and Here's the Scoop Ice Cream Truck will be on-site! All tournament players must be 16 years or older by June 13, 2025.
Those not playing in the tournament are still welcome to come, hang out, and play pick-up volleyball once courts open up. Families are welcome! There is a playground available on site for kids.
If you don't have a team and would like to participate in the tournament, please contact me at jonathank@cdbible.org. We'll see if a team has an open spot.
Tournament Information
Teams:
- Must be co-ed, minimum of 6 players, maximum of 9 players.
- Teams must have exactly 6 players on the court at a time. Players rotate after each possession change. Teams must have equal co-ed representation on the court at all times. (3 males and 3 females on the court at all times)
- Minimum age of 16 for all players.
Tournament Rules:
- Double elimination bracket. There is a maximum of 12 teams in the tournament. There are prizes for the winning teams.
- All tournament matches will use rally scoring.
- All matches will be best 2 out of 3 games played to 15 points, with a 2-point advantage or cap at 17 points.
- The championship matches will be best 2 out of 3 games played to 15 points with a 2-point advantage or cap at 17 points for the first two games. If it goes to the third game, it will be played to 15 point with a two point advantage and no cap.
- After each game is played, teams will swap sides.

Registration Details:
- Registration opens May 2, 2025.
- Registration closes June 6, 2025 or when we reach our 12 team capacity.
- All players will be sent a waiver to fill out.
- Registration cost is $60 per team (not per player).
