Breakout Sessions
You will have the option of attending two breakout sessions this year. Please select the breakouts you are interested in attending; this will help give us a general idea of materials for each breakout.
Battling Fear, Anxiety, and Overthinking
As we look around at our relationships, our communities, and the world at large, it can feel almost impossible not to be overwhelmed. Worries creep in. Fears take root. Anxiety begins to shape our thoughts and quietly dictate our days. We know we weren’t created to live in a constant state of unease — but breaking free from the cycle can feel out of reach. In this session, Meri Vickery, Hannah Erickson, and Malorie Aho delve into what Scripture says about fear, anxiety, and overthinking. Together, we’ll examine practical, biblical responses for when these emotions threaten to overtake us. Our hope is that we would learn to anchor our hearts in Truth and join with the writer of Hebrews in confidently declaring, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.”
Health, Hormones, and Aging Through a Biblical Lens
Every day, women are flooded with messages about how to age well—miracle diets, magic workouts, hormone fixes, and the promise of a better version of ourselves are just one more change away. It can be overwhelming and confusing to know what’s wise and what’s simply noise. Join Stacie Salowitz, MD, Emylee Kamper, DC, and Becky Willey as we thoughtfully explore health, hormones, and aging through the lens of Scripture. Together, we’ll consider how to discern truth from trends, steward our bodies faithfully, and pursue health so that we may serve the Lord with strength, gratitude, and joy in every season of life.
Stewarding Time, Energy, and Resources
Life feels louder than ever — constant notifications, endless opportunities, and a calendar that never seems to slow down. In a world that insists we can and should do it all, we can quicky find ourselves exhausted and wondering if it’s possible to pursue Christ without it feeling like another item on our “to do” list. Join Kristin Bishop, Mary Rasmussen, and Sylvia Zuiderveen for a refreshing, grace-filled conversation about embracing our God-given priorities and living within healthy boundaries so that we can live fruitfully in rhythms that allow us to flourish. Leave encouraged and equipped to live with joyful intentionality in a sustainable life rooted in Christ.
When the Impossible Becomes Testimony
The Bible tells us we will face trials: prodigal children, devastating diagnoses, sudden job loss, and other unexpected hardships that can shake our faith and overwhelm our hearts. Yet Scripture also reminds us that the Lord’s ways are higher than our ways and that He is faithfully working all things together for good. Join Casey Cook, Tammy Wakefield, Vanessa Woelfel, and Katie Burgmeier as they share powerful testimonies of God’s redeeming work in the midst of dark and difficult seasons. Through their stories, you will be encouraged to see that no situation is beyond His reach—and nothing is impossible for God!
