Sunday Worship Services
A great place to get plugged into serving at Coram Deo is on a Service Team! Our Service Team members are critical to our Sunday worship services and the experience our attenders have in coming together for worship each week. Be a friendly face that greets guests, help visitors find parking or seats in the Worship Center, work security, or more!
Current Opportunities:
Greeters Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Be the warm friendly face of Coram Deo to everyone who walks through our doors
- Open doors, shake hands, and welcome people as they come to service
Age Requirement:
- Junior High – Adult
Commitment/Frequency:
- Varies – Weekly to once per month before service

Coffee Hosts Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Make coffee and set-up hot and cold water for attenders before and after service
- Restock supplies as needed
- Help clean up any debris and/or spills in the Café area
Age Requirement:
- High School – Adult
Commitment/Frequency:
- Varies – Weekly to once per month before service

Welcome Center Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Staff the Welcome Center in the lobby before and after service
- Assist people with general information, locations of discipleship classes, Bibles, and event registrations

- High School – Adult
Commitment/Frequency:
- Varies – Weekly to once per month before service

Ushers Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Warmly welcome and assist people in finding seats for the worship service
- Distribute message notes and Bibles as needed and collect weekly offering
- Help facilitate an environment for people to meet with and worship Christ
Age Requirement:
- High School – Adult
Commitment/Frequency:
- Varies – Weekly to once per month before service

Communion Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Distribute bread and juice to the congregation in the Worship Center during Communion services
Age Requirement:
- High School – Adult
Commitment/Frequency:
- Once every 6 weeks

Parking Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Set-up / tear-down cones and signs that guide people in the parking lot
- Direct cars as they come into the parking lot
- Help people find parking spaces

Security Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Oversee the Coram Deo facilities before, during, and after service
- Respond with the emergency plan should an incident occur
- Background check required

Medical Team
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Be available for emergency response before, during, and after services
- Respond with the emergency plan should an incident occur
- Experience as a medical professional (doctor, nurse, EMT, etc.) required
- Background check required

- Varies – Weekly to once per month before service

General Office Help
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Assist with data entry from weekend registers
- Assist with various projects around the office (stuffing envelopes, creating booklets, organizing materials, etc.)

Special Events Team

- Assist with decorations, set-up, and tear-down for special events at the church
