A 20th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, September 7 • 4–7pm
An intentional time of worship will begin at 6:15pm
We’re celebrating 20 YEARS of God’s incredible faithfulness at Coram Deo!!! Join us on Saturday, September 7 as we kick off our season of celebration with a special party in the lot! There will be live music from our Coram Deo Worship Team featuring songs from the past 20 years, food trucks, games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, face painting, and more! At 6:15pm, we'll gather together for an intentional time of worship to close out the evening. So grab your family and friends and make plans to join us! We can't wait to come together in celebration of all that God has done in the life of our church!
Location
- This family-friendly event will be hosted in the Coram Deo parking lot. The Children's Play Area will also be open, as well as the Cafe and lobby restrooms.
Schedule of Events
- Come and go anytime between 4:00–7:00pm. You can even stop by and enjoy some fun and food on your way to the Red, White & Boom fireworks show in Davenport!
- Activities will be open from 4:00–6:15pm.
- At 6:15pm, we'll gather together in the north end of the parking lot to end the night with an intentional time of worship.
Available Activities
- Gather some friends and join in on a variety of games, including bags, ping pong, nine square, gaga ball, basketball, spikeball, carpetball, and ladderball!
- Seize the opportunity to dunk your favorite pastor or director in the dunk tank!
- Grab some food, drinks, or dessert from the multiple on-site food trucks!
- Enjoy live acoustic music prior to our time of worship with the full band!
- Get your face painted!
- Kids can jump around in one of the multiple bounce houses or play inside in the Children's Play Area!
Food & Drinks
- Food, drinks, and desserts can be purchased from multiple food trucks that will be on-site.
- Food trucks will include: QC Fork in the Road, Ganzo's Mexican Restaurant, Cafe Fresh, and Kona Ice.
- Whitey's Original Chippers will also be available for purchase.
Time of Worship
- At 6:15pm, activities will shut down and we'll gather together in the north end of the parking lot for an intentional time of worship with our Coram Deo Worship Team.
- Song lyrics will be made available electronically via a posted QR code that can be scanned with your mobile device.
Cost
- This event is free, but cash or card will be required if you'd like to purchase food or drinks.
What to Bring
- Be sure to bring a lawn chair so you can sit and enjoy the band, as well as our time of worship at the end of the night.
- Bring cash or card if you'd like to purchase food or drinks.
Parking
- Because this event is taking place in our parking lot, we ask that all attendees park in the Cinemark Movie Theater parking lot or the Elanders parking lot (limited availability).
- Look for posted Coram Deo parking signage to guide you.
- For those who park at Cinemark, a shuttle will be available to bring you over to the church.
- The shuttle to/from Cinemark will run regularly from 3:45–7:15pm.
